In honor of its limited return, we wanted to count down the 7 best episodes of this highly underrated series to prepare you for Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold.ħ. In the latest DC Animated movie, the world of Batman: The Brave and the Bold collides once more with Scooby-Doo and the Scooby Gang. His canon connection to several major continuity events, as well as countless heroes and villains, makes him a viable and exciting component for any DC show.Almost a decade after it began, Batman: The Brave and the Bold is returning… somewhat. Even though the name “Booster Gold” may not be as profitable a property as the ones mentioned above, Michael Jon Carter’s well-meaning heart and adventurous spirit make him a good addition to any DC story that focuses on the science of time travel or needs a little oddball humor thrown in. With Booster introduced into the team’s ranks right before the show’s end, there are many questions left unanswered. There doesn’t seem to be a way for the Legends to return right now although, there is a possibility that some of them may come back in The Flash. His understanding of time travel worked well within the context of the CW series, making for a commonsense addition to the large, constantly-fluctuating cast. In the role of “Mike,” the protector of a fixed point in time, Faison’s Booster is characterized as an easy-going yet complicated person. Most recently, Donald Faison brought some serious star power to the role in the seventh and final season of Legends of Tomorrow. It was the first time that Booster ever appeared in an official, licensed capacity outside animation, but it wouldn’t be the last. In the realm of live-action TV, Booster was featured in the Season 10 episode of Smallville, portrayed by Eric Martsolf. Then, in Legion of Super-Heroes, a janitor dressed as Booster is seen in the 30th century’s Superman Museum - a brief but comics-accurate reference to Michael Jon Carter, who did at one point work an entry-level position in a museum. It was the only time Booster occupied a lead role although, many other installments had him appear in brief cameos. Meanwhile, Episode 7 of Justice League Unlimited, “The Greatest Story Never Told,” focused on Booster’s adventures as he struggles to stop an impending black hole. It’s discovered later on that this version of Booster also had a past with Ted Kord, further blending comics canon into animation. B:TBATB episodes like “Time Out for Vengeance” highlighted a budding friendship between him and the third Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes - a younger hero often featured in the show. That last title utilized Booster to a great extent, building on his apparent ineptness as a hero but also giving him chances to do the right thing.

Although not in the same ranks as Batman, Wonder Woman and now Aquaman, Booster Gold has managed to maintain a steady string of TV adventures since the 2000s, popping up in places like Justice League Unlimited, Legion of Super-Heroes and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
